Creperie Catherine
Went to Montreal over the summer and predictably enough, decided to stuff myself silly with crepes. These were taken at Creperie Catherine at Mont Tremblant Ski Resort.
I can't quite remember what this was but I think it had mushrooms and cheddar/swiss cheese. The white sauce on top is Bechamel.
Banana crepe with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
I don't think I've ever had a bad crepe before (I suppose it would mostly have something to do with batter consistency) but these were right on the money. The prices were reasonable, too. Oh man, now I have a hankering for lemon and sugar crepes...

trendwhore
I know some people are pretty exasperated with the emergence of desert boots as a trend (because they're ugly) so I can only imagine the rage they must feel with all the bastardized versions that keep popping up. As for myself, I kind of like how they look. I promised myself I'd never buy anything suede because of maintenance issues (I'm lazy) but they're pretty comfortable, I guess, considering I barely wear heels. Thus, I felt compelled to buy them (stupid, I know). Whatever, I like 'em.
Shoes are from Clarks.

Le Cochon Dingue
Notre fameux Steak-frites
Entrecôte nappée de sauce (Dingue ou Poivrade ou Champignons), frites allumettes et mayo maison
Côtes levées « du Breton » fumées maison au bois d’érable
Servies avec pelures de pommes de terre, mayonnaise harissa et salade César
Taken when we ate at Le Cochon Dingue (Quebec). Note: I can't speak French. Being the poser that I am, I just had to post the French descriptions. It's pretty clear what the dishes are, anyway. Food was pretty tasty, although my steak was overcooked (que horror!) Oh, and I love the way they designed their menu. Check it out HERE.
EDIT: I love that they served the fries with mayo. Well duh, obviously they would, haha. I need to make garlic mayo, stat!
