I know some people are pretty exasperated with the emergence of desert boots as a trend (because they're ugly) so I can only imagine the rage they must feel with all the bastardized versions that keep popping up. As for myself, I kind of like how they look. I promised myself I'd never buy anything suede because of maintenance issues (I'm lazy) but they're pretty comfortable, I guess, considering I barely wear heels. Thus, I felt compelled to buy them (stupid, I know). Whatever, I like 'em.
